We often see exercise as something boring. Something we have to do if we want to lose weight or get fit. I don’t believe this. When choosing a career, everyone tells you to do what you love and you’ll never have to work another day in your life. The same goes for life and having an active lifestyle.
Find something you’re really passionate about. I love playing table tennis with friends, football, swimming and golf. Yeah, basketball also seems like a lot of fun but not so when you’re 176 cm and way shorter than everyone else.
My point is that you need to find something you’re passionate about. If you love the nature, consider taking long walks or run with a friend. You shouldn’t choose an activity based on the calories it burns – it should be based on passion.
Enjoy the small things in life, don’t make every activity into a task.
Remember that an active lifestyle will never replace lifting weights. If you’re looking to become healthier and get fit – you need to pick up the weights!
