Devastated over yesterdays chocolate cake? Haven’t seen the inside of a gym for several weeks? Did you eat unhealthy everyday last week?
Once we decide to lose weight and live a healthy life we usually try to change our lives completely. We begin the day by skipping the breakfast to save calories, then we have a sallad for lunch and when we finally come home from work we’re broken down and can’t resist the temptation. Thereafter we become depressed, feeling useless and decides to quit our attempt.
First and foremost you must accept that the majority of us feel better by having breakfast in the morning. Preferably high in protein. By doing so you’ll not only get more energy but also reduce your daily total calories since you’ll be able to resist any temptations we fall for when we’re broken down.
Next step is to accept the misstake and move on. Once and a while everyone will have some ice cream or candy. The important thing is to avoid the what the hell-effect which means to fall into a negative spiral where you don’t care about the consequences since you’ve already failed. This tend to result in yo-yo dieting by having cycles of healthy and unhealthy lifestyles.
Avoid it by snapping out of it!
