I’m currently reading Atlas Shrugged which is an awesome book well worth your time. In this book Ayn Rand, the author, describes two kinds of personality types and one of the differences is that some people act and solve problems while others just blame everything else.
I remembered this yesterday when we rolled out the grill and the weather turned on us. From sunshine to thunder and heavy rain within a few minutes. Obviously we could’ve given up and ordered food or cooked it inside but we decided to solve the problem by placing an umbrella above the grill. We didn’t blame the weather, we enjoyed it and managed to work around it.
This somewhat of a far fetched example but my main point is that you shouldn’t blame anyone else. Don’t be miserable.
Define the problem, figure out a solution and take action!
