I’ve previously mentioned the frightening amount of soda we drink and concluded why you should replace your soda with water. Now there’s a study, proving in black and white, how you can easily lose weight.
The study included 318 obese people who where divided into three groups.
- Replaced calorie dense beverages with water.
- Replaced calorie dense beverages with a diet version.
- Control group which was just given information.
During the first 6 months all of the groups lost weight but the first two groups, who replaced their beverage with water or a diet version, where twice as likely to lose 5 percent or more of their total body weight.
This is why I’ll continue to preach on how important it is to replace your beverages. By replacing your soda and juice with water you can save a tremendous amount of calories which you can use eat more satiating food (such as meat) or you can maintain your weight without hassle.
As you can see, it doesn’t take tremendous effort to lose weight. Begin with the small things such as replacing your beverages and when it’s a habit you can move on to daily exercise (walks) or eliminate all the sweets.
